An interesting timeline on headaches i have found while researching for some coping techniques for the "suicide headache".

Probably the more interesting and a bit frightening of a technique for the time was the trepanation operation. YIPE!

Interesting. Traditionally, our natives and our countrypeople used to tight a headband to easy headaches. Believe it or not, it helps.

For some people it helps i guess, but i can't fathom how it does?

I think the above answer clears things up a lot.

I drink that much coffee that if I go without for more than half a day I get headaches, a withdrawal symptom apparently.

Ah Doc, i wish that were so, then it would be much more easily manageable and more tolerated by the chronic sufferers.
