Hi guys. I have recently read an interesting article about monotheism and its connections to ancient Egypt, according to which a pharaoh named Amenhotep IV as known as Akhenaten had tried to destroy traditional pholytheist Egyptian religion and start a fresh one called Atenism, which is somewhat considered to be first monotheist religion in the world.

I also read that Moses could be an early Atenist priest or even Akhenaten himself. What do you think? What do we know about this confusing topic?

I think that the "Hym of Aten" is known to be similar to a Jewish prayer. I can't remember which one.
