As all we know Europe begins in Pyrenees Mountains. Then the theory I heard some days ago in a spanish free-radio about the berbers and the iberians ,speech by a university master, make me think a little.
First, I have seen berbers personally.
Second, Iberian is a spanish mixed culture. Then is not a race or ethnic group as the berbers.
Third, my admiration for this master make me think  i was dreaming.

The berber are an ethnic group that separate from other people, like Zanatas in Marruecos were are the most, due over all to the pride. That I have suffer personally.

her one photo of a tipycal berber who is so semitic as a Caldeo or an Arabian. And La Dama De Elche, statue of a Iberian Woman. That are tipically european, caucasian said the USA in the movies.

It is not racism, because Spain is not uniform racially, we past eight centuries fighting against berbers, between other muslims to discover all was a missunderstanding between brothers. Then they have rights over Spain (Al-Andalus). They choose Alá, we don't.

To be Hispano is inevitable, to be Berber is evitable for us.

Although Berbers have very similar looks to Iberians, the Berber culture has roots in the Sahara itself towards the east.
You have to take into account many of the Berbers have absorbed some foreign populations into their genepool, so they come in a diverse array of phenotypes.
