We live in interesting times indeed. At the time of this posting, we are still waiting on more counts to be done as the result of a hung parliament looks distinctly possible. We'll just have to keep watching. I'm sure no one in Australia wants a re-hash of the drawn out negotiations that followed our last hung parliament back in 2010.

Besides that uncertainty, this election has worked out brilliantly as far as I am concerned. I openly took to supporting OneNation this election, posting my support for Pauline Hanson's party which offers Australia the only truly nationalist option which will do anything about excessive mass immigration and the dangers of excessive sale of national assets/industries to foreign entities. My facebook friends list decreased by 4 people, but it was no biggie. The party's results exceeded my fondest hopes, as OneNation was returned to parliament with four Senators. I am absolutely thrilled with this outcome, and see it as the beginning of this party regaining its momentum and playing a decisive role in our political establishment. Well done guys.

@Constantine XI:

Who were the other three One Nation members elected? I thought only Pauline Hanson was elected.

For our international friends, Pauline Hanson, founder and leader of One Nation, shares many views on immigration with Donald Trump. I suspect that the reason people like her is because she openly says things that they're not game to.

It's not that I was born in Ireland,
It's the Ireland that was born in me.

The four OneNation Senators are: Pauline Hanson, Paul Ian Hanson, Paulie N. Hanson, & Poor Lean Hanson.

Jokes aside. I don't know all their names - and it's quite possible OneNation will get less than 4 Senators. We will have to wait and see, which is a bummer.

What a mish mash in the Senate. The smaller parties are going to be difficult to deal with.

Always has been a mish mash and always deals have to be made. Industry is generally very excepting of this. Forget what you read in the press. The Senate has been controlled by the ruling party only twice in the last 50 odd years. That was if I recall Fraser and Howard. The more thing change the more they say the same.

As to the Hansen supporters here try not to worry nor support wastes of public money on a royal commission as to if Islam is a race or an ideology. It is a religion. This is the only thing I will say on the subject. I have no interest in giving oxygen to simplistic nonsense.
