Arrrgh! We are being culturally dominated!

Dang you Mel Gibson and your mad max trilogies -oh wait Mel's an American and i like the trilogies!
Well, Gallipoli sucked - Er... actually no, it didn't suck.
Well, LOTR was boring - Sigh... i actually enjoyed the d@mn thing!
Quigley Down Under - Your the first Antipode i know who admits to the existence of the movie!

Men At Work - Well, no special thanks to your choice for a thread title, the song is now thoroughly stuck in my head, again!
Midnight Oil - Crap, another one stuck in my head!
AC/DC - That one i don't mind, as long as i can only hear it in my head. My ears are too worn out.
Russel Crowe - Don't know? He was great in Gladiator wasn't he?

Dang you antipodes! Stop trying to dominate us culturally! Wink

The Manic Street Pansies are from Australia as well aren't they? No disrespect to anyone of a pansy extraction.

The Dish is one of my favorites of the last decade, I loved the look on the US ambassadors face when he put his hand over his heart for the playing of the Star Spangled Banner and got instead the theme from Hawaii Five-0.

Sorry about the Men at Work earworm Panther, what was I thinking... hang on a second there's someone at my door, "Who can it beeee now"Big smile

Mel Gibson is as American as an apple pie as they say. He was born in America, his father was born in America and if I am not mistaken his gradfather too.

He only moved to Australia as a child because his father committed plasphamy when he questioned the Holocaust.

PLEASE ADVISE:- When did New South Wales secede from the Commonwealth of Australia?

AND "The Land Down Under" is Australia. New Zealand is "The Shaky Isles" or "The Land of The Long White Cloud".

Please don't confuse the two.
It's not that I was born in Ireland,
It's the Ireland that was born in me.
