Where are you in California?
I'm just curious.  My family is from California,
and my relatives are still there.  Although I am 
a Colorado native.

a "little" history, the Colorado state fish is the Rainbow Trout (which is not native to Colorado, but they didn't want to make it the Cutthroat Trout (which _is_ native to Colorado).  So you might say they picked the less "colorful" fish.  btw. Colorado's slogan is "colorful Colorado."

What areas of history are you interested in?

Mate, this forum consists of nuts of all kinds, interested in history.

I hope that you can make some thought provoking posts to the forum, as some of us (me) are almost running dry, bearing mind that I'm not a professional historian.
