hi, i am 20. 169 CM or 5'6 feet.
my hair is brown and naturally curly. eyes- green/ brown.
my parents come from few differnet origins.
i have 2 questions:
1. where can i pass, if you whouldnt kow i am mixed race.
2. can you guess at least one of my origins?

I think that there is nothing more American than Apu at Kwikimart.

(Apu is a Hindu from India in the show "The Simpsons," very much a kind of sing-song accent that you get from Indians from India.  Indian dot, not Indian feather.).  We (the US) are very much a society of immigrants, although the Indians (Indian feather, not Indian dot), would probably like us all to go back where we "came from."

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, in addressing the 'daughters of the American Revolution' said, "my fellow immigrants."  They probably didn't like that much, but they were probably old society dames.

Theodore Roosevelt criticized people who claimed to be 'hypenated American" saying that there is only American.  I don't totally agree, but I see his point.

But, I do think that it is appropriate to ask someone where do they come from, many people like genealogy and family history.  But some people might take offense.

I wonder how she (they) rate in the intellectual department? (I use 'intellectual' here loosely. academic book knowledge is not everything (or indeed perhaps, not the main thing).  I mean obviously they have their act together, are they kind, are they sharp?  Are they scary smart?  An example of scary smart is Condolessa Rice.  I don't have a picture of her, but I am a little in awe of her.  She studied piano at University of Denver, but realized that she didn't have what it takes to be top, and went into International Relations and Russian studies.  But, I have heard of her doing a concert probably as a fund raiser.  She was W Bush's National Security Advisor, and then Secretary of State.  I imagine that she probably has some interesting ethnic mix, she is a black American and a lot of Black Americans are a mix, although they don't necessarily realize it (or care?).  More the power to her for kicking butt in life.

Leslie Nielsen was a serious actor originally, he did Airplane and was typed as a comic actor, he did not want to be a comic actor, but I imagine he couldn't go back, so he became a comic actor. btw, he was Canadian, not American.
