Hello Seko,

As you and all old forum members know I was a frequent contributor to what is now the archive.

I am from the US where I currently live. I have a lifelong interest and enthusiasm for politics and history, as well as the related social sciences and humanities.

I am known for my specialties in political and military history, as well as geopolitics and modern history and anything related to them.

We like holdovers and frequent contributors. Good to see you both. Forum wouldn't the same without the two of you. As for me I happen to like shooting the sh*t, chatting about stuff and occasionally punching in the clock. What do you expect from a part time-job? Still is fun though.

A few minor changes. Posting in sub-forums instead of main forums directly. More space for our forum (database) and a better programming script among other things. Good to see you erkut.

Hello, I am a long time history buff, especially European history, maps, and genealogy. I'm one of the oldest student at ITT Tech Seattle about half way through my computer networking security studies.

Hello everyone =D
New member, obviously, hailing from Australia.
Originally stumbled upon the site while researching medieval history for my university course - second year history major with a keen interest in medieval and early modern era, especially England.
(Kind of disinterested in 20th century events to be honest, as my lecturer once told us, the 20th century is barely even history. Then again, he's a bit old and for him it is in fact not history because he lived through most of it)

Look forward to discussions with you all!! (maybe once exams are over)

Scandinavian folk music, huh? Never thought of that... sounds interesting! Feel free too share all of your favorites with the rest of us.

By the way, welcome to the forum Sifo-Dyas and i hope you thoroughly enjoy yourself here! I know i have. Probably a little too much, stretching the toleration levels of other forum members to the limit? Embarrassed

Greetings. I hope to meet some military and socio-political historians, as well as direct time period historians here to converse and share with.

I am a bit of a wild spirit in regards to study. I always commit daily to my central focuses, but also just love learning new things and having progessive discussions. So I am fairly amicable to correspondence in a great variety of topics.

Most 'history' or scholar related places I end up online (when I have the balls to try mind you, lol) end up very sour and discouraging expereinces; in that I find myself staring down the barrel of rapid fire subjective attitudes and fallacious ego bantering. I have only looked but a short bit, but I see none of that here so far, and so you will find me most grateful in days to come should that impression prove correct. ^_^

I do not rate myself or care much for titles or labels of most sorts. If forced, I would place myself in the 'intermediate' category for a few certain periods and people, and 'interested' in everything else. =P

Greetings all!

I've monitored this forum for a while now and finally decided to jump in and start posting as a member. I'm interested in primarily history, political science and economics. I look forward to my time here!

Now my next task, finding an avatar.

Hello everyone. See Ya!

Okay, here's my introduction: My name is Kylar, I'm 16 years old and currently going to college. (Taking Spanish I, and Psychology..) I'm a fan of general gaming, good old debate and foruming. I personally enjoy the study of philosophy, ancient history (Romans, Greeks) and Medieval history. Interesting stuff.

I have some experience in modding forums, administering them, and running them. So I know all about the FAQ's, rules, and the plain craziness that goes on.
