Hello Everyone: I am a hydrogeologist with 50+ years of international experience. My company is WaterBank and we specialize in groundwater exploration and valuation of groundwater and surface water sources. We also chain-title to water sources and engage in the brokerage of water and water sources anywhere. Our website is waterbank.com

On another front, I was reading up on the Garamantes and trying to recommend other sources of information. So, here it is: Wheeler Sir Mortimer, Rome Beyond the Imperial Frontiers,Penguin Books, 1955, pp.119-137.

Hi: New to the site and interested in medieval and Tudor history.

After visiting Pennsylvania recently and going to some of the Civil War battle sites would like to learn more about U.S. history from the Civil War and the settlement of the West U.S.

Looking forward to exploring this site and getting some new insights.

Hello, im a new member here...Im from Europe, iam interested in almost every part of history, but mostly European history from the late middle ages to 1945. I also am member on a few anthropology forums, some preservationist site and a certain philosophy site. its on one of these sites I saw a reference to worldhistoria.

No - Cyrus left stealing and destroying whatever he could.
Seko was here a few more years, but lost interest eventually - likewise with Dawn.

I miss Dawn, Komnenos, Zagros, Es_Bih, Ulrich and bunch of others. Are you the sole admin left from the old days? Are you guys still active on facebook?

I'm from Oz but currently living in Scotland.

I spontaneously decided to join a history forum, so here I am!! I'm mainly interested in ancient history and archaeology. But I like to follow my nose wherever it goes, so I'll definitely be floating about every nook and cranny of this forum. I look forward to exploring!

Is Oz? Ozstralia?

I am interested in a lot of areas, but what I am pursuing the most these days are the ancients, particularly the ancient Greeks but not so much Athens or Sparta, but the Western Greeks of Italy and Sicily before Rome took over the area. That's where the Pythagoreans came to power, and I've got plenty of half-baked theories regarding them<grin>. But, I do know Biblical stuff, and Roman/Latin, and some about other areas of antiquity. And modern philosophy/intellectual history and like everyone else these days, I pretend to know what science is, even though I have never seen a black hole;)

franciscoan- Yes, Oz is our favourite abbreviation of Australia, and we have no Judy, Tin Man etc. although some politicians appear to argue this point with their inane behaviour.
