Well, I just told you from where H.G. Wells bought the idea of the atomic bomb. The case of Robert Cromie is even more interesting because at the time he wrote about an atomic bomb (1895) there wasn't a modern atomic theory and radium wasn't discovered as yet either! Cromie based his novel in the atomic theory of Lord Kelvin, who said atoms were vortexes of ether!! Just imagine.
