I've been moved by a post in a group to make reference lists of Egyptian and Mesopotamia ancient chronology sources. This is the one for ancient Mesopotamia (Iraq). Kind of a tangent to this issue, there is a "Great Course" called "The Physics of History," about how physics (and science in general) is used to establish chronologies.
