The August Edition. http://www.ospreypublishing.com/articles/August_2009_Quiz/

I got 5 out of 10 here. And I actually knew the answer for three. Others were just guesses.

It's very difficult - I only got one out of ten! I should read more outside classical history...

3/10.  Very difficult indeed.  I was guessing on all but the three I got right.  Though I should have known the trafalgar one.  It's been too long since I read about it.

wow 4/10 very good quiz thanks for the website I've never been there.

I got these wrong

3. I just guessed
4. very gross I thought they propped him up like Suleiman at Vienna lol.
5. Totally stupid answer for me, just saw Patton not too long ago. true Patton did have pearl handle pistols but they were Colt 1911's.
6. I swear up and down it was "Mad Anthony Wayne" not Pedro, neve rheard of him.
9.Yorktown was sunk at Midway so I guessed on that one to be N. Carolina
10. answer was caterpillar, who knew? lol

good quiz we should do all of them

#9 was the one I was most sure of, because of what happened after the Indianapolis delivered parts of the first atom bomb to Tinian.

Actually, I thought it was Yorktown which delivered the bombs. Seemed that way for some odd reason.

I got the Trafalgar one, then the Punic one, highest rate of fire, Patton's armament and Brock's death (I think I got these... bad memory). Of these I know the rate of fire and the Punic question. Confused

5 out of 10. Wouldn't wanted to have been that Hussite leader though. Shiver me timbers. Drum roll please.

Not having a taste for the bizarre, I could not imagine any Christian skinning a corpse for bombing the enemy much less for the purpose of tympanic accompaniment! Nine out ten means my imperial pretensions live on...Cool
