Al Jassas - the Mead Hall is simply the part of the AE Tavern where we discuss random things, often without a purpose, for a bit of fun Smile

New layout looks good. Are we supposed to post in the tavern open screen, or the mead hall?

The new forum follows this structure, Dolphin:

CATEGORY. eg. ALL EMPIRES COMMUNITY

Main Forum. eg. The Tavern

Subforum. eg. The Mead Hall

Topics are only able to be posted in subforums, so yes, you would post a topic in the Mead Hall rather than the Tavern. For a better description of this, see:

Thanks Knights! It's either very early or very late for you...? I am currently at work and it's ten in the morning here. It seems like the rest of the AE world hasn't woken up yet, so when I post at this time, there's just a list of Dolphins in the new topics section..Quite embarassing sometimes.

Does the Mead hall serve juice? I got slightly drunk and made a fool out of myself at the weekend, so I want to stay sober for at least two weeks to recompense.

It's actually 7pm here in Sydney - was my description difficult to understand, sorry? I blame it on a full day's Chemistry study! It seems that people are still posting on the old forum, hence why you are seeing yourself as the most recent poster for a number of threads! They'll all phase over into this new forum before long.

Ulrich can probably whip up some Cranberry juice.

Two weeks is freaking tough. I broke it anyway, went for a game of 45 at the local country pub last night, wasn't going to drink, turns out the ole' fellas liked me and bought me about six pints. So not only did I not last a week without alcohol, I now have to sit in a stuffy office feeling and looking like sh*t, while the stagnant smell of breath-alcohol wafts around the room, and into other people's gossiping little mouths, not to mention my paranoia lobe, which generally takes over my brain on days like this. Hello, BE,

What is the subject of your dissertation?

Hey Pikeshot!  In general, let me say it will be on Byzantine local administration and military logistics in the mid through the late sixth century.

Just remember to use it some time during your next conversation.

Drink up lads, just like Chris!
