Its in Jordan near Amman an archaeologic site  of a period called the Pre-Pottery Neolithic B period, its the period between 8000 BC to 6500 BC.

although there are many Human sculptures which are older (goes back to 40,000 BC), the ones at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ain_Ghazal - Ain Ghazal site in Jordan are the Oldest in Middle east which are large close to life-size.
