Does anybody know about real Buddhist history. Now modern world is believing Lord Buddha was born in India. But It is very hard to find any correct evidence in Indian history(Not in modern history). If anybody have some information please come up and will discuss it.

There were five separate Buddhas. Siddhartha Gautama Buddha or the Tathagata was the one who sat under the Bodhi Tree they claim still grows where it was. The religion where the history of it begins is Hindu and these scholars seek for the legendary Mt. Meru I think was north of Urumchi in the Altaic region. See my thread on the Siddhar and work of Clyde Winters from the Tamils to Urumchi, Sidhe and DNN. If interested in power see what Krishnamurti says about Siddhis.

There is a lot of information on Buddha sprinkled across Ancient Books. Those information can be gleaned and compiled into a history of Buddha's incidence. I have some in my stock, as I have been researching on these things in my personal capacity for some time. Thanks, Guest, for reviving the memory of Buddha.

Hi Robert, All except Siddhartha were mythical Buddhas. "Mount Meru" which is related to Siddhartha is almost accurately known from a string of information derived from Ancient Books. The whole thing is there in the Puranas which needs an ingenious interpretation conforming to associated facts. Thanks.
