So, I found this http://https://listonic.com/8-historic-shopping-lists/" rel="nofollow - quite interesting article today about 8 historic shopping lists.

The article claims that shopping lists go as far back as Mesopotamian times, although, it doesn’t seem to give as concrete an example as like with all the other shopping lists in the article.

Does anyone have any direct sources or examples of such a Mesopotamian shopping list? I know cuneiform tablets are quite numerous, so it might be like trying to find a needle in a haystack!

The rest of the article is quite interesting, and it includes both Galileo’s and Michelangelo’s shopping lists: but I already knew about them. But my interest has now been piqued and I’m wondering if anyone else has any other examples of historic shopping lists in addition to these 8?
