Franciscosan, the words in my by-line are from Vietnam's national poem, the Tale of Kieu. Roughly translated: "The best sword blades are sharpened in wind and dust (i.e., battle)" I.e., practice makes perfect, and hard experience is the best teacher.

I wonder how Puerto Rico's political views have changed, with
1) the Hurricane that hit it (Maria??)
2) the shabby start of the reconstruction.

I wonder if the ambiguous attitude towards Puerto Rico's reconstruction from the Federal Government is because of Puerto Rico's ambiguous political status (which is related to its Hispanic culture and language).
