Along the same line of thinking, there was a failed attempt to introduce smart guns into the American gun market. Firearms that were set for one individual (biometrics), or had to be combined with a finger ring that activated the firearm. Ultimately, gun store owners refused to deal with them. Part of that was just the more complex, the more things that functionally can go wrong.
And then there is the holy hand grenade of Antioch:) I am not sure what it means, to have a weapon that can only be used by 'the worthy.' Is this a dream of the meek? or is it the fantasy of those who imagine that they are the exalted?
