If you know some Spanish, this section may make you laugh. If not, I could provide some translation (if you insist, of course Wink).
This is a song about the Ancient Tainos that, curiously, also applies to Castro's bros Cuba.

Characters: Tainos (Ancient Amerindians but a metaphore of the Cuban people)
Cacique: Chief (Castro)
Yuca: a plant from which natives made bread.

The interesting thing of this song is that has lot of knowledge about the ancient Tainos, and also about the desperation in Castro's Cuba. Translation is almost impossible. Even understanding it in Spanish is hard Confused. However, the video explains it by itself LOL

Taino Lucha tu Yuca (Taino, fight for your bread)

Lucha tu Yuca (Spanish with Cuban slang and Taino words)
Letra y Música de Raymundo Fernández Moya

Letra y Musica de Raymundo Fernandez Moya

Lucha tu yuca Taino, lucha tu yuca,
lucha tu yuca Taino, lucha tu yuca,

Absoluto.

Pero tu…
Tu lucha tu yuca Taino, lucha tu yuca,
lucha tu yuca Taino, lucha tu yuca,

lucha tu yuca Taino, lucha tu yuca,

Absoluto.

Y….

...Tu, tu lucha tu yuca Taino, lucha tu yuca,
lucha tu yuca Taino, lucha tu yuca,

lucha tu yuca Taino, lucha tu yuca,

Absoluto...
Absoluto…

Cuban "slang"? There is not a single word there that you can not find in the Diccionario of the Real Academia! Even "fotuto" is there--it is a common expression in both the Caribbean and Venezuela--and the others you are having problems with were absorbed from Taino--from bohio to yuca! Obviously for such an impact on language to continue puts paid to the notion that the Amerind were "exterminated" as soon as the Spanish set foot [as you maintained elsewhere].

Yes, you are right. But for a South American like myself, most of the words used in that song are very strange. For instance, I have never eat yuca. Each region of the Americas has its own subset of words. With respect to influences, no matter some words overlap, the Caribbean have Taino words, Mexicans from theirs own languages, including Nahuatl and Mayan, Andes people are influenced by Quechua and Aymara, Chileans and Argentineans by Mapuche words, Uruguayans, Paraguayans and Argentineans by Guarani, Brasilians by Tupi, etc. Each one with its own influence.

Some words:

Caney= ancient Taino name of Cuba.
Casabe = yuca bread
poner en fula = translate to dollars
Areito=Taino dance
Cabuya=string, rope
cohiba=cigar brand
mabuya=Satanas
fotuto=shell trumpet
Batos=ancient Taino ball game, similar to Mayan
Tinosa=vulture
