Hello to all,

We are the group of historians, journalists, writers and designers who are trying to make historical knowledge attractive and entertaining. We created an app which in a way allows you to live through the most important historical events of 19th and 20th century. We spent more than two years in research and development. Since we found out a lot from WorldHistoria, we thought it's OK to let you people know about our project.

And here is our campaign video:

By using Timebound, you can live through the most important historical events in real time, minute by minute, being notified about their every turn. The app sends you push-notifications, when something important happens in the course of the event. We think it’s very important to make history more popular and entertaining. Help us spread the word about our campaign if you share our belief. Thank you!
The Timebound team

castor-castor:

Your post amounts to advertising, which is not normally permitted on this forum.

However, as members could benefit from obtaining information on historic events, I would be prepared to allow it for the time being.

However if the advertising in future outweighs the historical value, we would have to delete the advertising. But congratulations anyway on the provision of a resource which we could use.

Please read our Code of Conduct so that you don't fall foul of Moderators or Admin.

It's not that I was born in Ireland,
It's the Ireland that was born in me.

Thank you so much! Our main objective in fact is not advertising, we would be thrilled to hear any feedback – criticism, ideas and suggestions. The reason my post might seem like an advert is that I am the author, and it’s hard to speak indifferently about my own creation. Any any edits to my post you might suggest would be greatly appreciated.
