The great Roman Empire from the very beginning was subject to internal centrifugal forces which at the end contributed to division of Empire into Western and Eastern part in 3rd century. The fault line firstly appeared during Marc Anthony secession. The dividing line during thet period was almost identical to dividing line splinting Empire into western and eastern part.
