This has been a very worthwhile thread with some meaty and pertinent points and counterpoints from all concerned. Kudos to all those who made this thread educational, and more than the sophomoric ramblings found in some threads. Gentlemen, you have my deepest respect.

yes, true, at least in theory. The reality in Dutch politics however is that the parliamentary fractions of the coalition parties, who usually form a majority, go along with whatever the cabinet proposes. But anyway, the point remains that the question whether Geert Wilders is guilty or not should be decided by a judge, not by a politician.
