The following questions from a non "professional". What if any differences is there between what made nations relatively "waalthy" and powerfull in the past (the last centuries), and in the near future?
Differnces in available technologies, scientific knowledge, acces to world markets, general "system" of society and culture, including educational culture  made important differences for some centuries, as did the differences between "colonial" or "imperial" centre vs. possesion.
Probably those differences are not longer so great and will be smaller. Will it make the regions and countries in a way more "equal", safe for differences in natural ressources and logistical difficulties ?
