Welcome everyone, to the All Battles Project subforum. The introduction to this special section of the Military History section is adapted from the archived overview by Rider:

This forum is to discuss the development of the All Battles (AB) project and help the AB project staff on its way to full capabilities. As many have said before, all support and help is welcome, and people that come with written pieces of art are welcomed in great esteem by us.

If you are interested in writing for the AB project, here are some guidelines to follow and things to include:

1) the topic title - including the name of the battle, as for example 'The Battle of Waterloo'
2) the text must be written by yourselves; as copied entries are easy to be followed and deleted and they do not show the level of your progress - take your time but write the text yourself.
3) a recount or critical analysis of view relating to the battle or military activity
4) appropriate in-text of footnote/endnote referencing system is used, including a bibliography or reference list

Here are some topics from the archived forum to help stimulate and inspire discussion:

The most terrible battle?
Overrated Battles
Largest Battles

If anybody feels that he or she wishes to join in on the creation and development of this project, please feel free to PM Knights or Rider, or send them an e-mail (found in their profiles). You may also contact any other member of the AB Staff.
