Welcome to the modern South Asia forum. Your moderators for this section are myself - Omar al Hashim, and Sparten, who together have been moderating the South Asia section of All Empires for many years.

The modern South Asia subforum deals with topics starting from Muhammed of Ghur and Prithviraj Chauhan until the present day. From Afghanistan to Burma and Sri Lanka this period includes powerful empires such as the Delhi Sultanate, Vijayanagar, Mughal Empire, and the British Empire.
