FC de Rakt, the women's team on September 2008, made a cool change for female football players outfits. It looks cooler and now the female players  have their own  identities rather than looking like a bunch of tomboys trying to kick and chasing a ball in the football field. Tongue

They still look like men, they should wear belly tops, except the chubby ones.

It is interesting how for men it is "uniforms" and for women it's "outfits." I have seen this quite a bit actually. For children, no matter what sex, their clothes are also called "outfits" until a certain age (I guess) when differences become more conspicuous, maybe...

For instance, my wife buys "outfits" that consist of a top and a bottom (usually) that  match in some fashion but are not necessarily sold together (know what I mean?).  My son and I get "clothes," tops and bottoms, that we then wear as separate entities that could be mixed and matched to suit our fancy... But my wife's "outfits" are used in the same manner... This shirt goes with these jeans and voila anew "outfit" has thus been created!

In short, the new "uniforms" for the team look splendidBig smile

Here it's 'kits' for both of them.

I think it's quite good - traditional female "outfits" can be reconciled with a traditionally masculine sport. I agree with the sentiments expressed above by Cahaya - if we are to remove the gender stigma that resolves around so many sports, we must find a way to reconcile the idea of feminity in the new sport rather than just have female players utterly absorbed into male uniforms etc. I've always respected attempts to do something like this - we have a woman's rugby team at my (well, old) college. Huzzah!

That photographer was just centimeters away from scoring some pantyshots. Cry
Sing, goddess, of Achilles' ruinous anger
Which brought ten thousand pains to the Achaeans,
And cast the souls of many stalwart heroes
To Hades, and their bodies to the dogs
And birds of prey

Well as the Canadian Olympic Women's Hockey team underscored they can swill champagne just like their boorish male counterparts...now the real issue becomes what has all of this excess testosterone done to the essential pheronomes that provoke lust among the males of the speciesConfused...
